Economic Impact Payment- Important Information

There are many questions about the Economic Impact Payment. While for some, no action is needed in order to receive payments, many people are required to take action to receive their full payment. To give some direction those who need to take action, please see the guide outlining next steps below.

IF
You filed taxes for 2018 or 2019 AND You had it directly deposited into a credit union or bank account
OR
You received Social Security or SSI AND Do not have children under 17

THEN STOP, no action is needed

 

IF
You had no income in 2019 AND You did not file 2018 taxes
OR
You made less than $12,200 at a job ($24,400 for a married couple) AND You did not file 2018 taxes
OR
You made more than $12,200 at a job ($24,400 for a married couple) AND You did not file 2018 taxes
OR
You received Social Security or SSI AND Have a child under 17
